Membership Overview

The RESET Network is an international non-profit network bringing together researchers and decision-makers in the Global South. Our aim is to accelerate just energy transitions that are tailored to local circumstances and result in tangible benefits for sustainable development and climate mitigation. RESET Network members are individuals involved in economic and policy research, modeling, and evaluation or other activities related to energy and climate transition in the Global South.

Note: Members participate in their personal capacity, not as institutional representatives. Membership applications are considered on the basis of a completed application form, a copy of your CV, and a letter of endorsement from a current RESET Network member.

      If accepted as a member of the RESET Network, I agree to:
      Uphold the vision of supporting Global South countries with accelerating just energy transitions and global climate mitigation.*
      Contribute to relevant research activities, webinars, and collaborative projects.*
      Uphold the RESET Network's values of excellence, empowerment, respect, integrity, and openness.*
      Maintain research independence and objectivity.*
      Refrain from representing your affiliation with the RESET Network in any lobbying activities undertaken in a personal or professional capacity.*
      Participate in the RESET Network in your individual capacity (not as an institutional representative.*

      Code of Conduct

      All members must uphold principles of research integrity, including transparency, reproducibility, and accountability. They must avoid, mitigate, or manage conflicts of interest. Inclusivity is fundamental. The Network values diversity across gender, geography, and career stage, and seeks strong participation from the Global South. Collaboration shall be based on openness, respect, and public accessibility of outputs. Policy engagement will remain evidence-based and independent of external influence. The Network maintains zero tolerance for harassment, discrimination, or misconduct. Violations of the code of conduct may result in warnings, suspension, or termination of membership.

      Terms

      Membership duration is from the date of signature until the end of the current calendar year and is renewable annually. No membership fees are required. Membership may be suspended or revoked if the code of conduct is violated. By signing, I confirm my agreement to these terms and my commitment to the shared vision of the RESET Network if I am accepted as a member.
